Husband to Ulfhilde
For many winters I fared abroad, wandering the lands until I chose to dwell in the hamlet of Lofthus, in Norway. There I plied my trade as a skógamaðr, hewing timber for the shipwrights and turning the mill; I also set my hand to smaller crafts, carving wood and laying fences. It was within this village that I found my bride, Ulfhilde.
We abode in Lofthus for some years, yet the thirst for the horizon seized me once more. Thus, we cast our lot with the village Jarl, who sought to raid the lands of Wessex in England. We sailed the whale-road for little more than a week before making landfall upon the isle of Wihtland and its here we discovered Wolfguard and asked the cheif if we could join his clan.
There we resolved to wander no more, settling in a small village. In that place, I took up my old craft anew and we lived a good life, raising our kin, Nykur and Josef.
