Welcome to Wolfguard !
Wolfguard is a Historical Re-enactment group based on the Isle of Wight.
We have been doing Dark Age re-enactment for over 30 years and primarily portray Vikings from this period of history. Whilst we are based on the Isle of Wight, we maintain strong links with the Mainland at our annual shows, 2 of which are Medieval so we have a small time hop for us.
What do we do ?
We put on living history and combat displays for many of the Isle of Wight's schools and perform at most Island shows during the summer months.
A good number of our members venture overseas to the mainland to take part in events such as our annual trips to Templecombe and Tewkesbury (see Upcoming Events)
What have we been up to ?
March
Wolfguard were back again at Nettlestone Primary for a Full Viking Raid Sadly too wet for a fire but a fine camp was set up. We spoke to the students about general day to day life as a Norseman, Trade and Travel, how we passed time as well as a'couple of spoken stories about the walls of Asgard and the treasures of the gods

Where to find us ?
Come visit our winter hide away at the Wootton Scout Hut most Sundays from 12 - 2 pop by to join in some sparring, no experience needed, as we are always looking for new members or just simply stop for a chat about what we do.
We are situated inside Wootton Common at the scout hut behind the play ground.
