Wolfguard is a Historical Re-enactment group based on the Isle of Wight.
We have been doing Dark Age re-enactment for over 30 years and primarily portray Vikings from this period of history. Whilst we are based on the Isle of Wight, we maintain strong links with the Mainland at our annual shows, 2 of which are Medieval so we have a small time hop for us.

We put on living history and combat displays for many of the Isle of Wight's schools and perform at most Island shows during the summer months.
A good number of our members venture overseas to the mainland to take part in events such as our annual trips to Templecombe and Tewkesbury (see Upcoming Events)

Filming at Carisbrooke Castle
This month we had an amazing opportunity to help a local short film based on Isabella De Fortibus. Massive thankyou to those who braved the wet - We are majorly looking forward to seeing the shoots from “Isabella de Fortibus“ once they wrap all their shooting and get into post production - exciting stuff thankyou for having us along for the ride ! set in the 13th century this is one of our 'jump in time' from out standard Viking antics.

Come visit us at Arreton barns most Sundays from 12 - 3 pop by and have a chat about this fascinating period of history or perhaps join in with some sparring, no experience needed.
We are situated just north of the over flow car park on the grassy area.
